Asakai (“morning meeting”) is an all-hand townhall meeting held every Monday morning for all employees of Rakuten. The agenda includes CEO Hiroshi “Mickey” Mikitani covering his vision for the Group and overall direction, as well as updates from individual businesses within the Rakuten Group.
