If an A2P SMS is undeliverable, will it automatically be retried?

Yes. Undelivered SMS will be automatically retried for up to 72 hours, depending on the MNO.

If the SMS is still undelivered after the retry period, it will be returned as a failure.
This is to accommodate cases where the cell phone subscriber is temporarily unavailable.
