From day one, India has played a critical role in the Rakuten Symphony story. Indian talent has been a cornerstone of our ability to deliver products and solutions to mobile network operators (MNOs) worldwide, enabling open interfaces and telecom networks to run in the cloud.
Now, it’s almost time for India Mobile Congress 2025. At last year’s show, Rakuten Symphony was recognized as India’s Biggest Telecom Technology Exporter and also won the “Best Made In India Telecom Innovation of the Year award.
How do we top that? By showcasing our latest solutions, highlighting partnerships with leading operators, consultants, industry experts, and OEMs, and spotlighting our key executives in the show’s keynote and main stage sessions.
Rakuten Symphony will be at India Mobile Congress 2025 (Oct 8–11, Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Centre), stand #D6, Hall 1. With more than 100,000 attendees from 120+ countries expected, IMC is the stage where we will showcase how Rakuten Symphony is transforming the global telecom industry—partnering with the world’s largest operators to build open-first, cloud-native, and AI-driven automated networks.
Our radio, OSS, and cloud software—designed in India, proven at scale in Japan, and ready for global deployment—will be at the center of conversations on how operators can evolve into true TechCos and reinvent their business models for the future of telecom. We have invested in India as a company.
Rakuten Symphony’s theme for the show is Intelligent Growth, which is our business strategy for mobile operators that combines digital business fundamentals with already established telecom expertise.
Our goal at the show is to showcase Rakuten Symphony solutions that empower Indian and South Asian mobile operators to become true global telco powerhouses while helping them to maximize customer lifetime value.
Attendees will experience this theme through booth presentations and demonstrations. The mission is to accelerate the transformation of telcos into TechCos, enabling rapid service scaling, modernized operations, and leadership in a data-driven, AI-powered, autonomous future.
On the opening day, Mickey Mikitani, Chairman and CEO of Rakuten Group, will deliver a keynote speech and join a fireside chat moderated by Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor at CNBC. He will discuss Rakuten’s role in driving the global mobile industry, Indo-Japan collaboration in the telecom ecosystem, and how innovation is powering transformation on a global scale.
Next, taking center stage will be Rakuten Symphony President Sharad Sriwastawa. He will headline the International CXO Fireside on Oct. 8 and participate in an industry roundtable on Oct. 9 with senior government officials, ministers, and global CEOs, titled ‘Charting India’s Telecom Vision: A Leadership Dialogue.’
Rakuten Symphony leaders Puneet Handa, Rishi Shukla, Sandeep Arora, Vivek Murthy, and Dr. Shuktij Singh Rao will be speaking across topics ranging from enterprise 5G and India’s telecom vision to AI democratization, responsible governance, and regulatory priorities.
Live Demonstrations at the booth include:
As one of the world’s fastest-growing economies with an unmatched depth of engineering talent, India is uniquely positioned to shape the next decade of mobile networks. Rakuten Symphony remains committed to investing in Indian talent, building partnerships across the ecosystem, and supporting the development of smart, sustainable, and secure digital infrastructure.
India Mobile Congress is an important opportunity for Rakuten Symphony to connect with the South Asia’s key telecom decision makers and remind them of our commitment to the region.
